You’re the first to arrive at a scene tied to a suspected money laundering organization with a history of using digital assets. Do you know what clues to look for?

For frontline investigators, the outcome of a criminal investigation could rest on an alphanumeric string buried in a text thread or a series of words jotted down on a piece of scrap paper. And particularly for those new to triaging digital assets, learning to correctly identify and process crypto artifacts could make or break an investigation.

Join TRM’s Chris Janczewski (Head of Global Investigations) and Chris Wong (Global Investigator) for a tactics-focused webinar examining common crypto artifacts: where to find them, why they’re important, and the role they play in investigations.

You’ll:
• Find out how to spot and handle common crypto artifacts — including hardware wallets, seed phrases, and other evidence of crypto activity
• Learn best practices for executing searches involving crypto artifacts
• Get a glimpse into the crypto-related clues both Janczewski and Wong followed while investigating the 2016 Bitfinex hack

This webinar is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes with two of the world’s leading crypto investigators and hear how they built court-ready cases.
